Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions govern the acceptance and handling of contributions made to TNT Multi-Care Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families impacted by intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injuries, mental health challenges, veteran support needs, and aging-related conditions.
1. Acceptance of Donations
All contributions, grants, and gifts are accepted at the sole discretion of TNT Multi-Care Foundation. TNT Multi-Care reserves the right to decline any donation that is not consistent with the Foundation’s mission, vision, or values, or that may result in an actual or perceived conflict of interest.
2. Financial Security of Donors
TNT Multi-Care Foundation will not accept any irrevocable gift—whether outright, planned, or life-income in character—that may, under any reasonable circumstance, jeopardize the donor’s financial security or wellbeing.
3. No Financial or Legal Advice
TNT Multi-Care Foundation does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice. Donors are strongly encouraged to consult with their own legal, tax, or financial advisers before making a charitable contribution.
4. Types of Accepted Gifts
TNT Multi-Care Foundation may accept the following forms of donations:
- Cash or equivalent
- Checks and online contributions
- Publicly traded securities
- In-kind gifts (at the Foundation’s discretion)
Gifts that require additional review prior to acceptance include (but are not limited to):
- Real estate
- Tangible personal property
- Non-publicly traded securities
- Contributions with restrictions
- Donations from unclear or potentially controversial sources
Such gifts may require Board approval or legal review due to potential obligations or liabilities.
5. Gift Acknowledgment & Valuation
TNT Multi-Care Foundation will provide appropriate acknowledgments for all gifts, in accordance with IRS and charitable contribution regulations. However, except for gifts of cash or publicly traded securities, the Foundation will not assign a monetary value to non-cash gifts or in-kind services for tax purposes.
6. Donor Intent & Anonymity
TNT Multi-Care Foundation honors the intent of all donors, including restrictions on the use of contributions. Donors who wish to remain anonymous will have their information kept confidential and shared only with staff or Board members on a strict need-to-know basis.
7. No Compensation for Referrals
TNT Multi-Care Foundation does not compensate, directly or indirectly, any third party or individual for directing a donor or gift to the organization. This includes commissions, referral fees, or finder’s fees of any kind.
